If these videos inspired you or made you stop and think....we encourage you to take a next step. Here are some ideas.
CONNECT to God - Talk to Him: Stop and ask God for help, do it right now. Just ask Him to help. Tell Him you are ready to give up trying to stop whatever distructive thing that's going on in you or around you. God is all powerful and all loving. He has a wonderful plan specifically for you. Ask him to show you the way. If you want help taking those steps, email us at Storyology or click here for more.
CONNECT directly to the GOD of the Bible: Get a Bible or go online to read the Bible. Take a look in the table of contents for Proverbs, Psalms, Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. These are all good books from which to start. God's word will transform your life.
CONNECT to God and others through a Group of Wise Friends: Life can be pretty tough and doing life by yourself can be very, very difficult. Being around others who accept you as you are and that care for you is extremely important. Click here to find a small group near you or a group on your college campus.
CONNECT to Help and to Others at a Local Church: Even if you've been turned off by church, try it again. Find a great church where God’s word, the Bible, is taught and where people love each other. If you cannot find a church in your area, please send us an email and we’ll help you find one. Click on either of the links below to find a church in your area:
Willow Creek Affiliated Churches
NorthPoint Community Church Partners (Look for a Church in your area!)
CONNECT to God through Great Books: There are a ton of great books by really talented writers that we recommend for you. To find some excellent books, go to www.christianbook.com and search for your area of interest such as "abuse", "divorce", "money", "anger", etc.
CONNECT to Truth and Wisdom through Counselors: Meeting with an experienced, Christian counselor can be a very effective way to deal with the struggles, addictions and pains in life. Contact The American Association of Christian Counselors or ask your pastor for a local counselor; click here to see a list of counselors we recommend in specific cities.
Connect to Healing through Organizations that are Meant for You: There are many very good organizations that can help with a number of issues. Check out our resource page for more programs and groups you can join.
